I enjoy them but I have no problem with eating meat/poultry. I used &lt;a href="http://www.anitasrecipes.com/RecipeView.asp?fileID=135"&gt;this &lt;/a&gt;recipe [that I found courtesy of  &lt;a href="http://katheats.com"&gt;Kath's blog&lt;/a&gt;]  I also subbed out the sour cream for low fat vanilla yogurt and halved the sugar and skipped the raisins AND then i sprinkled some flax in as well as on top. I of course could not resist having a small square. ;) It was delicious; different than I expected but yummy never the less.  It was dense and moist. It was not overly sweet; it was just right. I had to rush and quickly pack my lunch -- which I have to eat  on campus before my lab  which is at the awkward time of 1pm! A little over 5 miles of running and walking on an incline. Then I did some stretching and ab work. When I got home needless to say I was ready for some breakfast! I had 2 Kashi Blueberry Waffles [these are delicious with great nutritional content for waffles] with a smidge of sugar free syrup and a bowl of sliced strawberries, a couple of grapes, a slice of apple I had left over and 2 tsp of almonds with a dollop of vanilla yogurt.
